Village View

The Development

The homes are spread across 3 blocks: Douglas House, Mid Block and the Tower Block.

Douglas House is now complete, offering 13 apartments within a landmark building. There are stylish 2-bedroom apartments with balconies overlooking the Water of Leith, spacious 3-bedroom homes with superb picture windows, and a magnificent, 3,443 square foot, 4-bedroom, luxury penthouse.

The Second Phase sees the release of 9 of the 20 apartments in the Mid Block, a newly-constructed, modern building offering 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom homes.

The Apartments

At Village View the focus is on open-plan living, with most apartments featuring a spacious public room, incorporating the kitchen and areas for relaxing and dining. Coffered ceilings with feature mood lighting help to zone these different spaces, while wide-plank, engineered timber flooring creates a unity. The kitchens are beautifully detailed, with a wide selection of quality, fitted units and a stylish breakfast bar. A range of high-spec integrated appliances comes as standard and most apartments feature a utility room, or utility cupboard, containing a washing machine and tumble dryer. Mid Block apartments also benefit from an energy-efficient underfloor central heating system throughout.

All the bedrooms are fully carpeted and feature elegant fitted wardrobes with a mix of integrated shelves, drawer units and hanging rails. Bathrooms and en suites offer boutique-hotel-style luxury, with large format ceramic tiles on both the floor and at varying levels on the walls. White sanitary ware is complemented by designer chrome taps, shower units and mirrors.

Most apartments have an allocated parking space within the secure underground car park and an EV charger point that can be activated by the purchaser if required. The entrances, public spaces and stairwells are beautifully detailed and there is lift access to all floors.
