5 & 7 Brandfield Street were originally conceived as two apartment blocks, in line with the style set out by their neighbouring developments of 3+4 McEwan Square and Jex Blake House. Prior to the internal fit out, however, the plans changed and Staycity Aparthotel Edinburgh West End was born.

Adaptability is one of our key attributes, and at Brandfield Street we demonstrated this through careful design and rigorous planning. We were able to completely change the internal plans of the two blocks to create 145 studios, one and two bedroom apartments and four bedroom townhouses, giving visitors to Edinburgh a taste of AMA’s impeccable quality and finish.
