With the tall windows and generous ceiling heights of the former classrooms, we could have taken the opportunity to add in additional floors and increase the number of apartments. We felt, however, it was important to retain the integrity of the original design, so we created double height living spaces with mezzanine floors to maintain the sense of light and space.

The contemporary interiors have cool crisp lines, glass balustrades, designer kitchens and bathrooms, and spacious bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. The result is 16 stylish apartments, each individually designed to respond to their position within the original building plan.
